Dr. Shelley D. Plumb, a native of Washington State, graduated with honors from Pacific University and received her Doctorate Degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. Prior to her residency appointment, Dr. Plumb was honored for four consecutive years with the Distinguished Scholar Award. Serving as Chief Podiatry Resident, Dr. Plumb completed her podiatric surgical training at the prestigious Crozer-Chester Medical Center of Pennsylvania in 1998. She then joined South Florida Foot and Ankle Center in Royal Palm Beach, FL where she contributed to and expanded upon the tradition of excellence in foot care. From 2004-2005 she served as medical director of JFK Center for Wound healing in Lake Worth, FL. Dr. Plumb is also a member of numerous professional societies such as the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, the American Association for Women Podiatrists, and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Plumb has brought expertise to the field of podiatry and is board certified in foot surgery. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending quality time with her husband and three small children.
